A Mermaid's Curse - Blog Tour

Be sure to keep reading for an interview with Blake

Here is a little about the Author:
BIO
Daniele Lanzarotta is the author of paranormal/fantasy novels, including the Imprinted Souls Series, Academy of the Fallen, and A Mermaid’s Curse. She has a bachelor's in business and finance and a MBA. With only a few semesters left in school, Daniele started writing as a hobby, but it didn't take long for her to be consumed by her stories. That is her passion, and she now has several projects under way.
She enjoys reading and writing young adult novels with just about any sort of paranormal or supernatural bent...vampires... ghosts... She also enjoys watching hockey, playing rock band, guitar hero and spending time with the family.

 Synopsis:

Arianna always felt like she didn’t belong in the world where she was born.  Ever since she was little, she used to hide behind the rocks in the sea, and watch the human family who spent their summers on that island.  Over the years, there was nothing she wished more than to be like them, especially so she could get close to Blake, the human boy who she saw turn into a troubled teenager and then, an unhappy man.

Once her dad grew tired of her dreams and hopes for a reality that is not her own, Arianna is thrown into an arranged marriage, and her only way out of it is to make a deal with the power-hungry man who will give her everything that she has ever dreamed of.  Dreams that turn into nightmares as she watches Blake’s world fall apart, because of her and Blake’s inability to control their desires for one another.

Character interview with Blake - A Mermaids Curse
1.    Blake, what made you want to go to law school?
Trust me, it wasn’t my decision.  I have a very controlling family and this was really never my choice.
2.    If your life wasn't controlled by your father, what line of profession would you go into?
Probably something involving English literature.
3.    What do you like to do on your days off from school and work?

Go to the beach.  I spend a lot of time at the island.  It helps me clear my head and usually, I’m the only one around.
4.    What’s your favorite color?
Blue
5. If you could go to any place in the world for a day, where would that place be and why?

Any place away from my father would do.
6. What does your dream girl look like?

Like Arianna… she is my dream girl.  She is smart, strong, beautiful, caring.  I could go on and on… *smiles*
7. What is your favorite childhood memory?
Building a treehouse with my grandpa.

8. Who is your hero?
My grandpa.  I just wish he was still around.  He was the one person who could protect us from my dad.
9. If you could be a superhero what would your powers be?
To be invisible.

Looking forward to reading this one!

 COMING THIS SUMMER!

Trust lost her eyesight when she was ten years old. Coming from a long line of seers, the family knew their legacy would live through their daughter. Yesterday was her 17th birthday, only one year left before she will serve the Seelie Court for the rest of her life. Her pleas to her family to visit the human world have been ignored with pats on the hand and outright laughter.

She convinces her guardian Foster to take her into the human realm, just one time. When a seer steps to the other side of the shimmer, their eyesight comes back, but not completely. All guys look the same to her eyes, all girls look the same too. Warren is the first human she's ever met, he's beautiful in every way on the inside. Foster tells her the boy isn't attractive and looks sickly. Not to Trust, he's amazing and she doesn't want to lose his friendship. She's decided she no longer wants to return home. Foster's job is on the chopping block if he doesn't return the first seer in a hundred years. Will he return her to fulfill the prophecy, or will he be a risk taker for once in his life?

Devyn Dawson is one my favorite authors! I don't think she can write a bad novel! : ) Follow her on facebook, she is pretty awesome! Devyn's facebook page
All her books are a must read!
Mina is a 17 year old girl who has a lot of pressure on her to keep her family out of harms way. She comes to find out that she is a descendant of the Grimm brothers and the fairy tales are true and scarier than ever. Along the way she will find love, and lose it.

This was an interesting and quick read. It's also free right now on Barnes and Noble (for nook)
