What happens when an ordinary life becomes an extraordinary one? Winter
Rayne thought she lived a somewhat normal teenage life, except for the
teasing due to her father's outbursts of rage. Then, one day, she
discovers her entire life has been a sham and she's not sure who she can
trust. To make matters worse, she finds out the truth of her origins
and is tossed into a world where she must fight for her very existence. Join
the world of the Praestes and the Malfaisants and discover an entire
world you may never have known existed. It will make you question if
there is really a life beyond the one you already know.
My Review: I was asked to read this book for a review by a friend of the author. I love to read so I was all for it. I tend to not read the synopsis before hand so that I am totally surprised about the book I am about to review. I do not look up the rates the books are already given either. This book surprised me, I liked it a lot! It's different, but in a good way. I loved the interaction of all the characters. I can't make up my mind about some of the characters just yet...which just means I will have to wait for the next book! I look forward to seeing what J. M. Zuniga has in store for us in the future. I would give this book 4 stars!

the earth shook and everything changed.

least, that’s what I hoped. I hoped that there was an ‘everyone’ that
would remember because I am not sure how many are left, how many
survived. Or if anyone did.
I hoped that I wasn’t alone.
I remembered that day.
I remembered because it was the day I became alone.
was the day that everything was perfect until the monsters took it
away. Then the house went silent and the birds stopped singing. It was
the day when everyone disappeared, everyone except the boy, the only
person I have seen in two years. The boy I talk to through the glass.
My review: I had the privilege of reading this book in advance. It was not like anything I had ever read before. I liked it even though its do different from what I normally read. It was nice to think outside of the normal paranormal for once and I am fascinated by Rebecca's imagination! I look forward to reading the next one in this series. I would give this book stars.
About Rebecca Ethington
Ethington has been telling stories since she was small. First, with

performances. The Imdalind Series is her first stint into the world of
literary writing. Rebecca is a mother to two, and wife to her best
friend of 14 years. She was born and raised in the mountains of Salt
Lake City, and hasn't found the desire to leave yet. Her days are spent
writing, running, and enjoying life with her amazing family.
My review of this book:THIS BOOK WAS AN AMAZING ENDING TO THE SERIES. I have loved Quinn's books from day 1. I have loved these wolves through everything they have gone through. I have laughed with them, I have cried with them, and I have been just as angry at their fur ball mates right along with them. I was not disappointed at all with the way this series ended. I wasn't left mad or unhappy about the authors decisions. If you haven't started this series you are totally missing out. I could go into details about the books, I am afraid I would ruin it for someone who hasn't read any of them yet. Take my word for it, Quinn Loftis is an author who doesn't disappoint in anything she writes!
